I'm watching it now and it actually isn't too bad. in the beginning, watching it was an exasperating, anxiety-ridden experience, but it's getting better amidst scattered homages to old german expressionism and hitchcock stuff. simon pegg was made for roles like this. there is actually a really genuine emotional core to this that is pretty much its saving grace whenever it starts to get too slow. don't go in looking for a comedy, but this has surprised me so far.
