Milos is a contented family man with a beautiful wife and a little boy - he's also a retired porn star. Desperate for cash, he agrees to make one last film with Vukmir, an enigmatic director with a rather *peculiar* vision. Suffice it to say things rapidly descend into unprecedented horror.

Depicting the story of a down on his luck porn star, A Serbian Film follows Milos as he decides to make one last movie. Unfortunately, Vukmir, the director of the porn movies Milos is starring in, didn't warn Milos that he would be in films with an extreme edge. Milos is injected with bull testosterone and must piece together what he was forced to do while he was drugged.
A Serbian Film is infamous for its extreme content. It is banned in Spain and Germany and edited in most countries it was released in. The movie depicts graphic, prolonged sex scenes and graphic violence, most of which is in a sexual context. The most infamous scene involves a newborn baby being raped to death while director Vukmir tries to inform Milos about a new fad, which he dubs "newborn porn". The scene has been said to be a political commentary on the state of Serbia, with the director of the movie stating "They fuck you from the moment you're born until the moment you die, and then they keep fucking you."
