One small change would have made it the funniest movie ever

Right after the final scene, before the credits, a late title screen pops up: The Aristocrats!

Seriously, though, I was with the whole movie as tense and messed up as it was, right until near the end when he skullfucks the driver to death!

That ruined absolutely everything before it and just had me laughing at the rest. Or maybe that was the point the viewer was supposed to realize that nothing about it was supposed to be serious and the whole thing was just veiled social commentary taking refuge in audacity.

I don't really like it when people say that A Serbian Film and that old movie Salo are works of art because they are some kind of social commentary. Seems like all you have to do in the film business to get something totally disgusting taken seriously is to call it a social commentary.

Eh, It's too easy to say that a film contains 'social commentary'; you could probably find social commentary in any film if you looked hard enough.

It's very well-made but in the end its shock value far outweighs any supposed 'message' the film might be trying to convey.

Either the director is incredibly misguided and pretentious in his intentions or he is just full of crap.

The director said in an interview how it's all about the government and how "They fuck you from the moment you're born until the moment you die, and then they keep fucking you."

Yeah, I can see how each of those "points" are demonstrated in it, but I doubt that's what he sat down with as the core of the film when it was conceived.

Yeah, I had a hard time buying the social commentary stuff. It was a great movie but it wasn't really a deep social commentary or anything.
