@Napalm: Why the hate for Kristen Stewart? Just because she made her fortune off of Twilight doesn't mean she can't act. I didn't see Runaways, but I heard she gave a solid performance in that movie. From what I can tell Bella is just a very bland character, so she doesn't really get a chance to act when restrained like that.

But Akira probably isn't going to happen... again.

i think this is inaccurate. AKIRA was cancelled. I havent read anywhere that the movie is back in production. Please show me the link.

you're right. She didn't have much to work with in the TWILIGHT movies. And while she originally was pretty bad, she has improved quite a lot. I haven't seen anything that blew me away, but there are certainly dozens of far worse Hollywood actresses.

Bella Swan is a boring character that was scientifically engineered to act as little more than an avatar for all the girls and women out there who have ever fantasized about two hot guys fighting over them. She has no dreams, no goals, no hobbies, no friends and no personality. She just wants Edward's undead manhood in her vajajay. I remember reading somewhere that the character's physical appearance isn't even described until the very end of the first book.

It is hardly Stewart's fault that the Twilight movies are abominations. She was alright in Adventureland, for example. Then again, I'm one of the 5 people on this planet who have actually seen that film.

@Sandor: I've seen Adventureland, it was pretty good and I liked her in it.

Yeah I mean, she was alright in Adventuretime. But I agree that a link for this would be good, especially since I haven't heard anything about Akira for a while.

I don't think there's any reason to talk about this project until someone decides to resurrect it once again.

STOP YELLING AND USE COHERENT SENTENCES!

Like many other people in this thread I fail to see the point of stating this...or caring...if you're trying to say that she was actually signed onto the movie and that you're imparting said news on us you might want to take a step back and think about, again, why anyone would care about someone being signed onto a project that is likely not going to get finished anyway.

I completely agree with you there. I haven't seen any of the Twilights, but on the basis of her performance in Adventureland the idea that she's a completely useless actress doesn't really seem fair.

you are not making sense. @PenguinDust: clearly stated that the project was cancelled. it is an easy mistake and no one is going to hold it against you, but you might as well admit you're wrong instead of insulting people.

@roger778: Snow White and the Huntsman DOES look good. I'm excited to see it.

Kristen Stewert is vapid. In runaways she's atrocious. She's fine in Adeventureland because she plays a sort of vapid, empty girl. I've yet to see her make any other expression except a bored look.
