There is the tension and excitement of an unheard of enemy, the link to everyday life that people can relate to, the chance to keep the movie from dealing with real life wars, and the chance for amazing visuals.According to Box Office Mojo, this is one of the most consistently successful genres, though it has lost a bit of its clout in recent months.
