Plot Summary
Angel is the spin off to the popular television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. At the end of season 3 of Buffy, Angel leaves Sunnydale and heads to Los Angeles. There he meets a demon named Doyle who can see into the future and Cordelia, a friend from the past. With the help of Doyle's visions they set up shop and attempt to help the helpless in LA.Continuity
At the end of season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel leaves Sunnydale and goes to LA. Season 1 of Angel happens concurrently with season 4 of Buffy, season 2 is concurrent with season 5, and so on. When season 5 of Angel aired Buffy had already ended with it's 7th and final season, but the Season 8 Buffy comic takes place alongside the 5th and final season of Angel. Angel also had a comic called After the Fall which tells what happens after the end of the series finale cliffhanger.
