Red Arrow is runs through a train tunnel being pursued by Green Arrow, Flash, and Aquaman. Red Arrow is outmatched, but manages to escape when an oncoming train intercepts Red Arrow and his pursuers.

Mount Justice December 31 07:16 EST

126 - Traitor

The team recover from their mission at Santa Prisca, but are immediately put back into alert when Batman informs the entire team that Red Arrow has been the mole and is now considered a fugitive. Batman also tells the team that Red Arrow is actually a cadmus clone and it is possible that the real Roy Harper is dead. Batman tells the team that the Red Arrow clone is a League problem and that the Justice League will handle him. Batman tells Red Tornado to stay with the team and he leaves. While the team contemplate their next move, Red Tornado tries to infect the Aqualad with Starro Tech, but his body shuts down before he is able to. The team immediately takes notice and slowly puts together that Batman and Red Tornado have been acting differently (Zatanna sensing magical signatures, Batman calling them kids, Red Tornado holding the Starro Tech etc). They deduce that something is amiss and decide to split up, one team (Superboy, Miss Martian, Aqualad, Artemis) will pursue the Red Arrow clone and the other will try to reactivate Red Tornado (Zatanna, Robin, Kid Flash, Rocket).

While Aqualad's team leaves, Zatanna suggests that her team revive Red Tornado by transferring his consciousness to his other body. As they proceed with this plan, Black Canary arrives to check on the team. She question their actions angrily but is interrupted when a newly revived Red Tornado tells the team to escape immediately . Black Canary then unleash her canary cry on the team, but is subdued by the combined efforts of Robin and Rocket.

Icon, Doctor Fate, and Captain Marvel arrive at Mount Justice but find that the team have already abandon the base. The team makes their escape on Superboy's sphere and Red Tornado tells the team to stay off the radio and mask their signatures. Black Canary is also shown to have been taken captured.

126 - Best Friend

Elsewhere, Aqualad's team searches for Red Arrow by checking his equipment cache locations. Aqualad finds the Red Arrow clone and the clone demands that Aqualad proves his identity by revealing the identity of the one he loves most. Satisfied, Red Arrow confirms with the team that he is in fact a clone of the real Roy Harper and was used as a sleeper agent. Furthermore, reveals that Batman and the rest of the League have been mentally enslaved by Vandal Savage and his Starro Tech, which Red Tornado confirms. The two teams rendezvous with each other.

Watchtower December 31 23:16 EST

Red Tornado, Red Arrow, and Black Canary arrives at Watchtower meeting Vandal Savage. Black Canary informs Savage that she managed to reinfect both Red Tornado and Red Arrow. Red Tornado adds that the entire Young Justice team have been infected as well and await orders back on earth. Vandal Savage call their bluff and reveals that he knows they have not been reinfected at all. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) appears and traps Black Canary, Red Tornado, and Red Arrow with his power ring. Vandal Savage then proceeds to reinfect them himself with Starro Tech.

126 - Infiltration

Outside the team manage to infiltrate Watchtower secretly. One by one, they manage to isolate and remove programming from various League members (Plastic Man, Hawkman, Atom, Captain Atom etc). Klarion takes notice that he is losing control of many of the Justice League members and Vandal Savage figures out that the team must be responsible. Savage demands that all League members return back to watchtower to handle the team. Suddenly Black Canary and the others attack revealing that they have manage to develop a means to be immune to Starro Tech's control. At this time, Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern (John Stewart), and Hawkgirl return to Watchtower and attack Black Canary, Red Arrow and Red Tornado. Black Canary and her team are easily overwhelmed by the returning controlled League members.

The team continue to remedy the Starro Tech among League Members found around Watchtower. (Green Arrow, Flash, Icon, Captain Marvel, Dr. Fate, Aquaman etc) The team eventually runs into the Superman and the other high ranking League Members, and manage to strategically take them down and cure them. Klarion suggests that he should get involved in the fight as well, but Vandal Savage says their job is done and they should now leave.

The clock strikes midnight, revealing that it is now the new years and the team all share kisses with each other (Aqualad and Rocket, Robin and Zatanna, Artemis and Kid Flash, and Superboy and Miss Martian). Superman flies down towards Superboy and congratulates the team on a job well done. Superman tells Superboy that he is proud of Connor and is glad that he has taken the surname Kent like his own.

Meanwhile, the Red Arrow clone laments on how he was just a puppet for Vandal Savage and the Lights. He vows to find out what happens to the real Roy Harper and Batman tells him that Guardian is already searching Cadmus. It is shown that Ra's al Ghul is already at Cadmus removing Match and the real Roy Harper and that Guardian is another that is under the Lights control.

126 - Missing

Batman and Robin then reveal another startling question. That while the Justice League was under control, six members were missing for a large amount of time that is unaccounted for (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, John Stewart, and Hawkgirl). Batman wonders where they were and what they did...
