When would you time time travel to?

If there is anything Back to the Future taught us, then it's that we shouldn't mess with time. But let's say you didn't know about all the time paradox stuff and you found a timetravelling DeLorean in your backyard. When would you time travel to? And would you travel to the past or the future?
 
I'm not sure, but time traveling to when Uwe Boll was young and telling him that movies aren't his thing is pretty tempting.

I'd go back in time and stop things like terrorist attacks from happening. Also, I'd warn people to evacuate before natural disasters strike. That would be pretty badass.

There's some petty things I'd like to do with a time machine, like travel back to San Francisco during the Summer of Love and spend a few months there, for example. But if I wanted to go back for a real historical event...I would either like to go back to 1585 to discover what happened to the Roanoke Colony or the early 15th century where I could ride on a Chinese treasure ship.

Last week. About 7 days and 4 hours ago. Then I would go to Giantbomb.

I would want to grow up with Indiana Jones and Star Wars and Star Trek and be a those type of nerds. 
 
That or way back in old Europe were I own my own land..maybe in Scotland or Austria. No technology, all nature.
