Every now and again, a film comes out where the villain ends up winning over the hero at the films conclusion.

When villains end up winning, it's usually because of two reasons:

  1. The villain was just too smart for the hero.
  2. The villain is pure evil and out of a mere mortals league.

Bad Guy Wins is often the brother of Good Guy turns out to be a Bad Guy.
