Overview:

Men of Easy Company
Men of Easy Company

Band of Brothers follows the actual events of Easy Company of the 101st Airborne division in the US Army during the European campaign of World War II. The show starts out showing the harsh training of Easy Company by Captain Herbert M. Sobel ( David Schwimmer) at Camp Toccoa, GA. Then it quickly leads into Easy Company's first Airborne drop at Operation Overlord (D-Day) where Major Richard D. Winters ( Damian Lewis) lead a now text book assault on the artillery guns shelling Omaha Beach. The show went on to cover such historic battles as the Battle of Carentan, The Battle of the Bulge (Bastogne), and Operation Market Garden. It also shows the liberation of a concentration camp and Easy Company's capture of Hilter's Eagle Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) in the mountains of Berchtesgaden. Band of Brothers ends with the end of World War II in Europe.

The show started each episode with interviews of surviving members of Easy Company recounting the events pertaining to that episode. The series ended with a montage of the real members of Easy Company compared to the actors who portrayed them and where they are at now or when and where they died.
