for those of you who have seen it, whats the appropriate age range? How young is too young?

Its pretty violent. Disturbing scenes. I'd say at least 12+ 
But as a parent you should be able to determine what your kid(s) can deal with. I wouldn't go any lower than 10.

A parent is a responsible adult. New definition. There's a lot of worthless scum bags, male and female, that seem to have destroyed its true meaning.

@TurkuSama: Alright, I was almost positive this would be to violent or graphic for my little brother just wanted to get a second opinion.

There was one scene that was pretty violent. The death was off screen, but the blood splatter wasn't. Honestly, I think that was it...

I agree with 12+, but if you need more info go to the netflix page of it, there's an age guide for it if needed.  It should be noted Robin gets killed at the beginning of the movie, that's probably the most disturbing.
