OK it made $25 million, I could use $25 million dollars! I do not see why this is a flop! I don't, just like KNight and Day! Rise of planet of the apes opened with around 30 million, and Everyone was pumped! I will not lie, Hollywood money is so different that Real world money, that i am lost

@Watcherg44: It's considered to be a flop because they take the opening and compare it to how much the movie cost to make. Typically a movie wants to make at least a third or even a fourth of its budget on opening weekend to be considered something of a success. Rise of the Planet of the Apes may have only made 30 mill on its opening weekend, but it only cost 90 mill to make. Battleship on the other hand only made roughly 12 percent of its budget, so that's why its considered a flop domestically (internationally its still considered a success).

@obscurefan: Listen I understand that part, but I don't think it's fare to blame the movie on only getting 25 mill, I don't.
