Corneil's dog-sitter, whom is the only person that knows of Corneil's talking abilities.

Origin

Bernie Barges was hired as a dog-sitter for John and Beth's dog, Corneil. One day, Bernie found Corneil speaking like an human and swore an oath not to blab on Corneil because he might be sold to a group of scientists if the twosome aren't careful. From that moment on, they run into many obstacles that threaten their secret throughout the series. 

Personality

Despite his chronic laziness, Bernie is kind-hearted to most of whomever he meets except for his arch-rival, Romeo.
