The Grey is looking like it might be the next great man-vs-wild thriller, but will it live up to The Edge?
Video posted by JoeyF on Jan. 23, 2012
When their plane crashes in the Alaskan wilderness, fashion photographer Bob (Alec Baldwin) and intellectual businessman Charles (Anthony Hopkins) must fight for their survival -- and the gigantic, ravenous bear chasing them is not helping matters. Co-starring supermodel Elle Macpherson as Charles's much-younger wife, this taut thriller features a screenplay packed with testosterone-heavy zingers from renowned scribe David Mamet.

This was one of my favorites as a kid.
I'll watch anything with Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin
I enjoyed The Edge until the plot twist with Baldwin's character. That felt completely ridiculous and Hopkins' reaction to it was just as bizarre.
I've been meaning to see this for years!
Totally forgot about this movie! Glad to see it again on Besties.
I was always suprised that The Edge wasn't a bigger hit.
I loved this movie, but I've not seen it in ages. Gives me something to dig out.
Great choice Matt, this film is so unknown it's a tragedy, but in some ways I think that's always part of the appeal.
Woo Hoo! Great choice Mr. Rorie! Boo, because this movie is sorta forgotten :(
Was just talking about this movie for the same reason, They Grey. Haven't seen this in awhile... probably check it out.
I can't wait to see Liam Neeson beat up wolves.
Still gonna have to go with my requisite Frisky Dingo quoting for this one.
This was always one of my favourites
Yeah Canada!
Huh, I've never seen this. Have to check it out.
I did see Glengarry Glen Ross recently, though, and really enjoyed it. Alec Baldwin was great in it, too.
I remember this scaring me as a kid.
Damn I love this movie. So many great memories from watching it when I was young.
was always interested in this movie. might check it out.
that was an interesting point but that's probably the most I've seen the film in the past 15 years since I thought it looked rather silly then as much as it looks silly today.
