Cool. The original Star Wars trilogy is so beloved. So obviously they'd be besties.
I concur, I'm glad you decided to feature such a historic film!
Oh Joey, you continue to make me smile.
You guys should do In Bruges... if you like that movie that is... if you've seen it.
PS. Is there video choppiness? Or is that just me?
Yes! I love this movie and this video! And it's nice to see that the Besties isn't above including mainstream movies into it's hallowed ranks.
Wait...why do I see an image from Reservoir Dogs when I'm looking at this from the forum?

No you won't, he will just edit you out of existence.
I'm gonna get hate for this but I think Star Wars is the best star wars film. Something about the second act in Empire makes it hard for me to get all the way through the film.
This movie is perfectly paced. It's kind of amazing how many things are plot threads going on simultaneously and then they all get tied together in what, for my money, is the best third act of any movie ever. Han getting frozen is one of the most amazing scenes ever filmed on pretty much every level; performance, set design, lighting, score, writing, and, of course, acting. Amazing that in spite of all that it's still one-upped by Vader's reveal 15 minutes later. So good. I just need to go watch this again. Like right now...
I agree with Rorie on the twist at the end. I don't really remember a time when I didn't know what was coming, so it's never really had the impact on me that it could have.
Also, friggin orange and blue. It's everywhere. I wasn't aware that it went back that far.

Yeah, just noticed that too.
Nice swipe at the end there, Joey.
Yep, totally the best of the besties.
Absolutely loved it. I was 15 the year it was released. I can still envision myself sitting in the theater with goosebumps all over as the film started.
For the longest time when I was a kid, I thought Empire was the most boring. It is only when I got older that I learned to appreciate it. A New Hope is still my favorite though.
