Never seen Vanishing Point but the white Dodge Challenger I definitely have seen before in some other things.

I used to watch this & Two Lane Blacktop a lot with my oldest brother during his big cars fetish phase. A lot of the social commentary, & drug use, went over my head but I always dug the chase scenes.

While I appreciate Vanishing Point for what it is and what it stands for in it's influences, I think I'd still rather just watch Bullitt.

I liked it, I saw it after I saw Death Proof. I also saw the Dirty Mary, Crazy Mary flick along others Tarantino talked about influencing his film.

Just watched this movie before editing this feature -- really good, not what I was expecting at all though.  One of those rare films that works really well without a well-defined antagonist.
