Although it might seem like Marvel Studios is putting all of its efforts into pumping out Avengers sequels and spin-offs over the next few years, one of the founding fathers of the House of Ideas confirmed that we can expect some much-needed diversity from the comic book giant soon enough. In an interview with District, Stan Leerevealed that Marvel is currently working on movie versions of Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and The Inhumans. Check out what he said when asked which heroes would get adapted next:

Oh they are all being made into movies! I can tell you there will definitely be a Dr. Strange movie! They are working on Antman, which requires really small cameras! Black Panther is being developed, one of my favorites…the Inhumans…All the hero’s will eventually be made into movies.

Both Doctor Strange and Black Panther have been long-rumored to be making their way to theaters, but they have since taken a back seat to the likes of Ant-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy. So while it might be a while before we see them on the screen, we now know that they’ll get there eventually. Now we can start speculating wildly about who will play who.

I'm looking forward to both Doctor Strange, and the Black Panther.

Black Panther is one of my favorite Marvel characters. Glad to see him getting a movie, totally deserved. And of course he needs it so he can be in the new Avengers movies.

No offense to your copy and pasting skills but they are burying the lead by not naming this thread Stan confirms a Dr. Strange movie and more. Also Idris Elba clearly has to play the lead in the Black Panther movie.
