Plot Summary 
Frank Pierce (Nicolas Cage) is a talented paramedic, but he cannot forget the people he has failed to save, one girl in particular. As such, he is suffering from insomnia, is overworked and is pushed to the breaking point. Over the course of several particularly eventful nights, Pierce discovers a shot at redemption in his interactions with Mary Burke and her ailing father. Perhaps he can make up for the mistakes of the past with this new patient, but what actions are necessary in order to save him?
