Bubba Ho-Tep was not only an amazing film it has convinced me elvis is alive and fighting demons.

Finally, a Welcome To Weird movie I've actually seen!

I love this movie, saw it awhile back.

A little too many cheap dick jokes, but definitely worth watching.

I would highly recommend finding a copy of the DVD just to listen to Bruce Campbell do the commentary completely in character.  
 
I liked the movie but I think a lot of people are turned off by the fact that it isn't Evil Dead 2 or Army of Darkness levels of goofiness.  It is an extremely bizarre concept of an elderly Elvis teaming with a black guy who may or may not be JFK ( Ossie Davis is the best part of the movie) to battle a mummy that feast on the souls of the elderly by sucking them out of their assholes, which just screams comedy.
There are a few comedic scenes but most of the humor comes from the pure absurdity of the plot and how it is not played for laughs.  I'm not saying Bubba Ho-Tep is a great movie but if you go in not expecting the typical Bruce Campbell charm then you will enjoy it a lot more.
