Best way to watch Buffy and Angel?

I'm watching the 4th season of Buffy right now and Angel showed up again, I'm not extremely into the character Angel and I want to move on from Buffy onto other shows like BSG or Firefly. 
I do like Buffy, so is Angel worth checking out?  
and if so, is there a good way to watch Buffy and Angel? should i try to watch them in tandem, or like season 4 of buffy and season 1 of angel before moving onto season 5 of buffy?
will the crossovers between the two shows continue to occur? I don't really know if i'll have the time to watch Angel, but if its cool enough I figure i should check it out

At this point, I'd watch the top 10 Buffy episodes of all time and skip the rest of the show, then watch Angel until Spike shows up, then turn it off. 
No but really. Buffy? That show is over when she dives into the pit or whatever. That was the official series finale, then the show came back without Whedon and was horse shit. You don't need to see any of the rest unless you enjoy watching car crashes. So watch Buffy up to the proper series finale, then switch over to Angel. If you wanna watch them in chronological order, I think Angel came out season 3 of Buffy.

4, 5, (parts of 6)  th series of Buffy were the best  (:  
 
 
And the crossovers of Buffy and Angel do occur, but it's not like, you NEED to watch Angel to get into the Buffy storylines, they normally explain in words what roughly went down. 
 
& Angel is a really good show, not as good as Buffy IMO, but still worth watching. (:

You're so right.  I loved Season 5, mostly because of Glory and the fact Willow was like, more important and a bad-ass witch.  (:  after that, WIllow got stupid.  & P.S. I hate Spike too.
