Visit Scotland.

Seriously though it  doesn't look bad but it could be.

Cool trailer but it looks like a bad movie.

PieINyourFACEon July 21, 2010 at 3:15 p.m.
It has a neat concept, but I don't know if it will be any good.

Can't wait for this movie. I'm a huge Neil Marshall fan, and I'm hoping this will make up for the a bit generic Doomsday.
Martin_Blankon July 21, 2010 at 3:20 p.m.
Looks cheap and derivative. And how can you possibly make Olga Kurylenko not look attractive?

Those poor Imperialist Romans!

But Liam Cunningham and Dominic West are strong selling points for me...

He looks like that guy from Terminator: Salvation. Whatever his name is.

I like me some Neil Marshall, he has made some interested movies.

It's impossible for me to take Marshall seriously, but I want to see this.

The Warriors? Still looks pretty good.

I love how all the Roman soldiers have English accents and call each other "lads".

NO, No, no. Neil will have to a do a hell of lot more than just that to wash way taste of that film. Doomsday was more the generic it was the equivalent of a Neil Marshal scat fest in the viewers mouth. Yes, he took the most  virulent aspects of Road Warrior with none of the humanity but is everything in between that wrecked.
Let's we get the part of his brain that made Descent and not Doomsday.

It is funny that he is doing a story that makes the Romans into heroes.  i guess a few thousands years is enough to wash way the fact that the Romans are the bad guys. I guess it would be too soon for the story to be about Nazis.
Beomooseon July 21, 2010 at 10:11 p.m.
oh jeez, are they seriously going down the "we have to send a tracker/hunter/assassin to kill the last 7 guys from our own Legion so nobody finds out we lost a Legion" track? Or did I seriously misread that part of the trailer?

Damnit McNulty, hold the line!
Olivawon July 22, 2010 at 12:16 a.m.
It still blows my mind how someone can make a movie as good as The Descent, and also make a movie as goddamn fucking terrible as Doomsday.

This looks pretty badass, though. Hopefully it will shy away from Doomsday's constant cutting and shots that are literally half a second long.

I disagree. Doomsday was a dissapointment, true. But the movie wasn't that bad. Derivative, yes, memorable no, but watchable.

I think the main problem was Rhona Mitra's character. Rarely have I seen a main protagonist so devoid of personality. She looked to me like she was trying too hard to channel Kate Beckinsale. But back to the topic at hand. Michael Fassbender, Dominic West and Olga Kurylenko? YES :D
