Character Says Film's Name

Edit this Page
The content below is entirely editable.

When a character says the title of the movie or TV show in a line of dialogue. It can sometimes be subtle, but more than not it often comes across as forced and breaks the viewers suspension of disbelief.

It should be noted that movies or TV shows whose titles consist entirely of the name or nickname of a character (such as Beowulf, Superman, or Monk) do not count, as it should be expected that a character's name would be spoken aloud. This rule also applies to media named after an organization (Ghostbusters) or a central concept to the story ( Inception).
