I just wanted to clear something up:
In one of the recent podcasts, the guys said that Mr Nolan has never done a DVD commentary.
He's actually done two that I know of:
One on the Special Edition of Memento as well as a really fascinating one on the Following DVD - the latter was actually done for the sole purpose of helping out budding independent filmmakers.

Ah, so there's still a chance of him doing one for Inception? I really hope he does. It seems like the perfect film to get some commentary on.

That would be great. Ooh - The screenplay can be preordered on Amazon - now that is what really interests me.

I'm glad you brought that up. I've got it on my Amazon UK wishlist, although there is no release date attached to it - they've set it as "Temporarily out of stock" - but I assume it'll be the same as the US' listing of September.

It's a real shame he doesn't do commentaries. The Dark Knight could have definitely done with one.

I doubt he'll do one for Inception, especially since that movie seems to be all about the director letting the audience go with their own interpretation.

It's like when Richard Kelly ruined it with his commentary track on the Director's Cut of Donnie Darko

Well, Nolan wouldn't have to give his interpretation on anything. He could just talk about his approach, the filming, changes to the script, etc.
