Chuck Lorre was born Chaim Levine. He attended SUNY Potsdam for two years before dropping out to pursue music, but he finally found his knack creating sitcoms. His credits include Cybil, Grace Under Fire, Dharma and Greg, Two and a Half Men, and The Big Bang Theory.
