Claire Dunphy

Claire likes to try and control all aspects of her families life, which usually blows up in her face; she has a tendency to be over competitive with her father, a trait she inherited from him in the first place. She holds a small degree of dislike for Gloria, whom she originally called a gold digger; she also is often at odds with Cam because of his parenting style.

In terms of their children, Claire is looked at as the tough and bossy parent; while Phil is the fun father, very often she will deliberately switch roles with Phil to gain the favor of the children.
