A landmark in science-fiction films, Close Encounters Of The Third Kind tells the story of Roy Neary and many other people who had close encounters with UFOs, and their insatiable obsession with finding them again.

Trivia:

Real air-traffic controllers were used for sequence with the UFO encountering the airplane.
