• The film was shot in Cinéma vérité style, several cameras were given to various members of the Stones' inner-circle to film whatever they wanted.
• The Rolling Stones strongly disliked how they were portrayed in the final film, so they issued a court order saying the film can only be screened once a year and if Robert Frank, the film's director is also present at the screening.
• The film's content and title lead the film never to be released offically, another film "Ladies and Gentleman: The Rolling Stones" was filmed and released instead.
