Wait...Community Takes Place in Colorado???

I thought it was just like every TV show that took place in Los Angeles. Was there any mention that it took place in Colorado? Did I miss it or something? How did this happen!? Who knew about this already?!

I think they mention some high schools and names of other places that put the location in Colorado. I don't think anyone has especially said it on the show.
