Abbie Carmichael

Abbie Carmichael is an Assistant District Attorney played by Angie Harmon on three seasons of Law & Order. She is a strong, touch lawyer who rarely feels sympathy for the people she prosecutes. She eventually leaves the DA's office to take a job with the U.S. Attorney's.

Adam Schiff

Adam Schiff, played by was the first District Attorney on Law & Order. As he is an elected official, He sometimes lets political motivations cloud his legal judgement. He eventually leaves the DA's office to work with The Holocaust Project.

Alan Shore

Liberal and highly intelligent. Alan Shore is willing to mock the legal system to get justice.

Alexandra Borgia

Alexandra Borgia is an Assistant District Attorney played by Annie Parisse on Law & Order. Unlike the other ADAs, she typically does not argue with the decisions of her superiors, even when she may disagree with them. She is brutally murdered after 33 episodes on the series while investigating a criminal gang.

Alexandra Cabot

Alexandra Cabot, played by Stephanie March, is an Assistant District Attorney on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She has strong moral beliefs, but is not above bending the law to get a conviction.

Arthur Branch

Arthur Branch, played by Fred Thompson, was a republican District Attorney for five seasons on Law & Order. His conservative views stand in stark contrast to those of his more liberal employees, but he desires to see justice served above all else.

Ben Stone

Ben Stone, played by Michael Moriarty was the original Executive District Attorney on Law & Order. He has a strong moral code and resigns after four seasons when a witness he has promised to protect is murdered.

Casey Novak

Casey Novak, played by Diane Neal, is an Assistant District Attorney on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She adheres to the letter of the law to prevent having to deal with special circumstances in each ease.

Claire Kincaid

Claire Kincaid was an Assistant District Attorney played by Jill Hennessy for three seasons on Law & Order. Kincaid often idealistic and naive, and is killed by a drunk driver while driving an off-the-wagon Lennie Briscoe home from a bar.

Connie Rubirosa is an Assistant District Attorney played by Alana de la Garza or both Law & Order and Law & Order: LA. She is extremely dedicated to her job, and takes her position in the justice system very seriously.

Jack McCoy

Jack McCoy is first an Executive Assistant District played by Sam Waterson on Law & Order. He is known for his fiery, ruthless personality and is often willing to bend the rules to get his conviction. Nevertheless, he has a strong moral center and only wants to see justice served. He later become the District Attorney.

James Deakins

James Deakins, played by Jamey Sheridan, is the captain of the Major Case Squad on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He spends much of his time cleaning up after his reckless detectives, Robert Goren and Mike Logan.

Jamie Ross

Jamie Ross, played by Carrie Lowell, is an Assistant District Attorney on Law & Order and, later, a judge on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. She is a by-the-book attorney, in contrast to her boss, Jack McCoy. She left the DA's office for a private practice job that allowed her more time to spend with her family.

Jem Finch

The loveable son of Atticus Finch who saw an innocent man put on trial for rape and later killed.

Jim Garrison

New Orleans district attorney who brought the only public trial in the murder of John F. Kennedy.

Lincoln Burrows

Framed for murder and sentenced to the death penalty for killing the vicepresident's brother. He was rescued by Michael Scofield, that broke him out of prison.

L.J. Burrows

LJ is the son of Lincoln Burrows. After his father was sentenced to execution and his uncle also in prison his life changed dramatically.

Michael Cutter

Michael Cutter is an Executive District Attorney played by Linus Roache in Law & Order. Like his predecessor, Jack McCoy, Cutter is willing to step outside the lines to ensure that justice is served fairly. He stayed the E.A.D.A. until the show's end.

Michael Scofield

When his brother was sentenced to death and wrongly accused of murder he got himself locked up in Fox River to help him break out and evade the execution.

Nora Lewin

Nora Lewin was a Manhattan District Attorney on Law & Order and played by Diane Wiest. She is personally a political liberal, but does not let that influence her legal decisions.

Paul Robinette

Paul Robinette is an Assistant District Attorney played by Richard Brooks during the first three seasons of Law & Order. He is a strong advocate of racial equality, to the point of refusing to accept advantages on account of his race.

Ron Carver

Ron Carver, played by Courtney B. Vance, is an Assistant District Attorney on Law and Order: Criminal Intent. He is usually unsympathetic towards criminals and sometimes has an antagonistic relationship with his detectives, due to their tendency to rely on intuition rather than solid evidence.

Sara Tancredi

First introduced as Fox River's attending doctor and the daughter of the governor, she later became the main love interest of Michael Scofield.

Scout Finch

The loveable daughter of Atticus Finch who saw an innocent man put on trial for rape and later killed.

Serena Southerlyn

Serena Southerlyn is played by Elizabeth Röhm for three seasons on Law & Order. She is often sympathetic towards the defendants she prosecutes, leading to her dismissal from her post. In her last moment on screen it is revealed that she is a lesbian.

Two-Face

After being horribly disfigured,(having acid thrown on his face is the most common happening), District Attorney Harvey Dent took on the name of "Two-Face" and set out to punish those responsible. He is known to carry a double-headed coin, with one side scratched up.

Veronica Donovan

An ex girlfriend for Lincoln who was a lawyer and tried to clear the case for him during season 1. She was finally killed.

Willie O'Keefe

A fictional character who was based off of a combination of people who knew about the JFK conspiracy.
