CSI: Miami Cancelled

This...is a damn...travesty. Where am I going to go for my cheap police procedural fills starring David Caruso now? I'm so sad right now. This was the one thing that my dad and I made sure to do every week: watch CSI: Miami and get super pumped about how bad but addictive it was.

Thank you, CBS, for ruining the one thing my dad and I had in common...you fuckers.

I thought the show was...alright. But this was the only thing it had going for itself:

@FinalDasa: If you had an invested interest in the "serialization" that was in the show like my father and I, it was a pretty rad show. Yes, it's the same police procedural as everything else that is less about engaging the viewer and more just lulling them through, but it was the best way to lull yourself through something on TV.

Plus, I'll never forget when they killed Speed off... Those bastards...

@jakob187: I watched when it first came on cause I really like the OG CSI. I liked the separate style but it wasn't something that clicked with me.

I guess you could say it was a case of low ratings.

WOW I figured they would of cancelled NY before Maimi. This one at least had the meme going for it.

This is surprising although it's impact is diluted to me simply as I am so far from my days of watching CSI & CSI: Miami with my mother. But I'm sure my grandpa will be a bit disappointed. I will say this: though the world probably doesn't need another CSI, if they would like to start work on a CSI: Chicago, I would be willing to come back and give it a viewing.

Wait. CSI:NY is still on the air?

ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?! THEY AXED MIAMI BEFORE NEW YORK?! NY SUCKS BALLS!

@smitty86: Nah, man. You can't go Chicago. You need some place unique, and I mean...no offense to Chicago, but a CSI: Dallas or CSI: Seattle would be a little different in style. Then again, I'm a Texan, so I want a police procedural based in Texas to happen so bad one of these days, if only because it'll be the most hilarious shit ever.

@jakob187: I would rather have CSI: Portlandia.

I bet CSI: New York gets axed next year. Besides, Chicago had a cop show, The Chicago Code, and it got cancelled. Seattle has The Killing and well Dallas had Walker Texas Ranger.

Canceled? Couldn't they see the drop in ratings and then end it with some dignity?

They should make CSI Mumbai, I'd watch that. For a while.

@RockinKemosabe: I haven't seen The Killing, so I was unaware of that. I need to throw that in my Instant Queue.

As for Walker, we did have that excellent show...but nay, we need a CSI! Actually, CSI: Houston would probably be better.
