A young Boba Fett attempts to sneak aboard a Republic cruiser and have revenge on Windu, the man who killed his father.
A group of still-in-training clones are being briefed by a fully trained and grown clone about their soon arrival on a Republic Star Destroyer. As the fully grown clone leaves the younger ones begin poking fun at their newest recruit nicknamed Lucky, who just so happens to be Boba Fett. The group's leader tells them to stop making fun of their new addition.
When the group arrives they are welcomed by Jedi Master Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker and then put to a small test. Each clone is taxed with hitting a moving target and only Lucky is able to hit the target consistently without missing. They continue their tour of the ship with Lucky sneaking off on his own. He manages to get into Mace Windu's private room and place a laser at the door that would trigger an explosion. The booby trap does work but not on its intended target, instead another clone trooper is killed.
Obviously the target of a trap the entire ship it set on alert. Lucky, Fett, is contacted on his comlink and told to go after the ship's reactor and sabotage it so that everyone on board is killed. Despite being hesitant goes about the plan but is caught by another trooper who calls for security. Boba is able to disarm the clone and stun him with his own gun.
The sabotage goes off and the ship's hull is severely damaged which nearly kills Windu and Skywalker. With such critical damage the Jedi suggest the ship should be abandoned and the crew saved. The young clones, including Boba, are jettisoned from the ship on an escape pod which is picked up by Slave I with bounty hunters Aurra Sing and Bossk on board. Boba boards Slave I, apologizes to the other group of clones, and sends their escape pod drifting which is later picked up by the Jedi. Meanwhile the admiral of the star destroyer attempts to land it on a nearby planet.
