Trivia:
Daria Nicolodi was Dario Argento's real-life girlfriend. The two worked on several more films together and eventually had a child: Asia Argento.
During a para-psychology demonstration, psychic medium Helga Ulmann becomes terrified when she reads the mind of an audience member which is focused on killing. Later that evening, music teacher Marcus Daly witnesses the gruesome murder of Helga in his apartment building and becomes obsessed with tracking the killer himself. With the help of a newspaper reporter, Gianna, Marcus slowly begins to discover the truth of what happened that night. With a number of clues staring him in the face--a portrait that has somehow vanished, a haunting children's tune, and a decaying corpse--Marcus must put the pieces together if he stands any chance of catching the killer and saving his own life. As Marcus gets closer to the murderer, though, those closest to Daly begin to die one by one and if he doesn't crack the case soon it'll spell lights out for everyone he comes into contact with.
