Ewwwwwwwwww... that last clip.

The first time I watched How High the DVD was so scratched that the film kept leaping back in time to random scenes, making it even more inexplicable (and entertaining!) than it already is. I am thrilled to see it represented here, it's legitimately very funny, and worth checking out if you're, uh, in the mood.

Honestly, I could endure only about half an hour of this garbage. Did not laugh once, only got closer and closer to deep depression.
Also I think it is pointless, Alex, to defend this movie, because comedy is one of the most subjective genres. In this case either you find it hilarious or you don´t and want to throw your TV out of the window; no need to waste time writing a defence of it.

You know what Alex I'll defend you for defending this. You defended it even though its undefendable (is that a word?)

It's been a while since I saw it but I remember that I really liked it. So yeah, I defend it as well.

How High is not that great... everything in it was done better in Half Baked and Undercover Brother.

What about me, who loves stoner comedies but never has any intention of doing any illicit drugs?
Smiley Face, and all the movies on your "12 Great Movie Stoners" are supremely entertaining even without drugs.

Since we are on Stoner weak, I rented Leaves of Grass. Has anyone else seen it?

It's extremely dumb but I have never had a problem with How High.

This movie is pretty hilarious.  Not gonna lie, it's ridiculous and not a good movie.  But it tickles the right part of the stupid brain that makes me giggle sometimes.

@Korne:  Yeah.  It's a good movie isn't it.  Norton is great.

The first time I saw this movie I thought it was OK until it took an unexpected turn to a twisted dark side.  All I could think was WTF.  After seeing it again and getting over the initial shock of what happened it was more enjoyable.

It was OK, I really didn't like it. Hell, I was pretty stoned once when this movie was playing and even then....ehhh. The scene where they hot boxed the car was funny though, all I can remember. Anyways, the kind of "weed" movies that I like are the ones where weed isn't exactly the primary plot point. Big Lebowski and Jackie Brown for example. I love those movies. Only real weed movie I liked would probably be Pineapple Express......I'm even not that into Half Baked which seems to be the go to weed movie for most people.
