Audio goes crazy near the end, otherwise pretty interesting. Maybe I'll forgo my general dismissal of most anything with Charlie Sheen in it and give it a watch.

Not enough cocaine.

The ending was painful to my ears.

My hatred for Charlie Sheen may keep me away from this movie.

I caught this movie on a boring Sunday afternoon on Comedy Central like 11 years ago. I enjoyed it, but then forgot it.

Holy shit.. the demons came out at the end there!  I dropped my sippy-cup!  Otherwise, great as usual gentlemen.

I rather enjoy this as well. Henry Rollins is tragically underutilized in the crazy ad-libbing meathead role.

Why would you need to defend The Chase? Who could possibly be against it?

Sex while driving can't be beat.

My only experience with mostly forgotten movies about cars starring one of Martin Sheen's sons is Repo Man. Which I didn't much care for, but would still be great in DYM ( or Welcome to Weird, for that matter).

Also, Kristy Swanson is the only reason the Buffy movie is worth watching.

I remember they used to show this movie constantly on Comedy Central in the 90's. I can't say I have seen more than a few minutes of it and even then it was edited for television. I will definitely check this out sometime after seeing it is made by the guy who made Detroit Rock City as well as how passionate Alex was about it. Not to mention fuckin' Henry Rollins and Ray Wise.

I notice the scene where the bodies are spilling out onto the road and getting plowed was directly ripped off later in Michael Bay's misanthropic masterpiece BAD BOYS 2.

@Alex Which was a better parody of the news media? This or Natural Born Killers?
MrPinkon Jan. 25, 2011 at 9:45 p.m.

This movie wasn't all that bad.  Some of it was a bit forced in terms of comedic moments, but yes, I agree, one of the "forgotten" movies that is indeed pretty good.

I love this movie!!!!!!!!!!! I had forgotten about it, but now...I think I might go rent it =D

Yo, The Chase was awesome.  Well, not AWESOME-awesome... but awesome in the sense that I was like 10 when I first saw it.  I'd watch anything.  This was good though.  Yeah.

For some reason it also got me thinking of one of Sheen's brother's masterpieces.  Emilio Estevez in JUDGMENT NIGHT.  No need to defend that one.

I saw this when I was maybe 16ish?  Haven't seen it since but it has always stuck with me oddly enough....

Apparently, the original ending of this movie was suppose to be Henry Rollins ripping Charlie Sheen's head off while screaming the lyrics to Rise Above by Black Flag.

Uh..so...yeah, that's something right there.

I just saw this again last year. It was funny. Once I started watching, I had to finish watching. Good times.

Like Alex says. Not a great film but a fun film.
