Die Hard: With a Vengeance is based heavily on a script written by Jonathan Hensleigh, originally titled "Simon Says," which started out as a Brandon Lee action movie, and for a time was considered for the fourth Lethal Weapon film.

Overview

Bruce Willis is back in action as John McClane, this time back under the original Die Hard director, John McTiernan. A terrorist referring to himself as "Simon" seems to have a vendetta against a burnt out McClane and forces him to participate in a series of twisted and dangerous "Simon Says" tasks throughout New York City. Also drawn reluctantly into the fray is a pawn shop owner, Zeus, played by Samuel L. Jackson. Together they must match wits and discover the truth behind the terrorist's motives before it is too late.
