Trivia:

This film is most well known for being the origin of the ubiquitous sound effect "Wilhelm's Scream". Although the scream was named for it's use in a later film, actor and singer Sheb Wooley recorded the scream for a scene of a man being bit by an alligator. He recorded several takes with takes 4, 5, and 6 being the most recognizable, all of which are used in the film.
