I don't know about you but murder gives me the munchies.
 A villain will display his evil and desensitized nature by still showing his appetite while disturbing things are happening. Such as having an associate murder a failed henchman or just having a dismembered hand on the table. When displayed in films, it is mostly a cheesy affair, but when done more tactfully, can help better define the unsettling characteristics of the villain.
