I'm posting this for those who also loved the soundtrack of the film. I found it pretty interesting.
The original Drive soundtrack was composed entirely by Johnny Jewel, the producer behind most of the bands whose songs appear in the film. But this was scrapped in favor of the Cliff Martinez one that appeared in the final cut.
Fortunately he put out the soundtrack, and it's already on Soundcloud and also iTunes for those who want to buy it. I recommend checking it out, it's pretty awesome, and it would've fit the film perfectly. Hopefully someone will edit the soundtrack into the film and upload it to Youtube or something, like they did with the rearranged version of Pulp Fiction.
