The team goes onto a mission to expose Cobra. Bane gets involved and Aqualad becomes the leader of Young Justice!

Plot Summary


Something has happened on the island of Santa Prisca. The island is best known for making Venom the enhancement drug. It has stopped exporting the product so the team is sent in to do some reconocen. The team still dose not have a set leader and everyone is jocking for position. 
 
Once arrived they discover that the Cult of Kobra have taken over the island. While searching they also come across Bane and his men fighting with Kobra troops. The team takes out both Kobra and Banes men.  
 
Miss Martian in an attempt to gather more intel tries to read Banes mind but is stopped by his counter measures. Robin wants to use Bane and investigate the factory while others want to call in the League since they fulfilled their mandate. Bane talks them into investigating the factory. Once in the factory Robin disappears and the Flash runs after him trying to find more intel. Aqualad and the others are left in the dust. Bane eventually causes a distraction and the team takes on the cult. Robin and Flash find data showing that the cult have modified Venom with the Blockbuster formula creating a new super formula. The team is eventually over run and forced to retreat through the tunnel they came in.  
 
With the tunnel broken behind them the team is forced to elect a leader. Robin, the most experienced of the group feels he should lead it. Kid Flash also wishes to lead but Robin shoots him down for his immaturity. Martian and Superboy don't want the position. Finally the group elects Aqualad for his clarity of instruction and calm demenor. Bane though double crosses them and plans to blow the tunnel with them in it. Flash though steels the detonator and they are able to take him out. 
 
Regrouped the team plans to attack the production plant again and find out the mysterious buyer. When the buyer shows up the team attacks with a strategy and is able to stop the purchase from going down. 
 
When the team arrives back at base they are at first scolded by Batman for the mission growing out of control. He than complements them for handling the situation and adapting to the situation proving there worth as a team.
