He Started out in the WWE, from a family of Wrestlers, he knew the show. And has he got more, and more attention, he moved into acting. Well with this form I wanted to know, what you people think of him? from where he was, to where he is.

He provides a service, knows his limits, and entertains. I'm a fan.

When he is in the right role he is a lot of fun to watch. I'm mean look at Faster, I felt a lot of that movie just fell flat (the assassin, billybob thorton). I felt he carried that movie. But like I said it was a role that

was right for him. Tooth Fairy? Not as much. I sure that's pigeon-holing his work but hey, he is kinda big.

The guy oozes charisma and is extremely charming. I would say he is a competent actor. Also The Rundown was fucking incredible and The Rock's best movie.

I agree with you 100%.

He's pretty decent, even from his cartoony acting origins.

I wouldn't say he is a good actor but the man just oozes charisma and is a magnetic personality, which helps when your in movies like Journey 2: The Mystery Island. The charisma and physique make him and easy go to guy for mid tier and high tier action movies. He could defiantly be a lot lot worse I'm looking a you Hulk Hogan Brother.

@Ghost_of_GhostDad: I remember oddly loving that movie seeing rock dodging all the whips and breaking ex-NFL players jaws was pretty awesome

@Watcherg44: He's no Al Pacino but I think he's a pretty decent actor. Some actors are pretty good at just being physical, but he seems to be able to do that and also be personable, charismatic, and likeable.

i agree that he is very charismatic and charming. he has such a personality on screen it makes up for any acting shortcomings and makes him a valuable actor for several movies. Take Get Smart; it is so much better with the Rock.

Yeah! I loved him in Get Smart! He was a great supporting character/surprise villain.

The best thing about him is that despite his WWE origins, and his size and strength, he has a very warm persona, naturally likable and doesn't seem egotistical. Maybe he is, but he doesn't seem that way, and that comes across on screen.

@Tylea002: I think it is suprizeing how far he has come. I don't think anybody thought much of him at the begining.
