Despite the lack of Rorie, puppies still make their way into this video feature.

Been waiting for this.
Just be gdlk at Gears 3 and you can edit videos.
Joey has the best smile in all of Whiskey Media.
Agree?
Y/N
Oh man.
As a taught-myself-the-basics type of guy, I'm psyched to see this.
Thanks Joey!
I wish my thinking voice was in the guise of the wonderful Master Rorie....
My god is that complicated. Thank you Joey for all the hard work you put in to make awesome videos.
@csl316: Same here.
Lucky and Peaches! I am very excited to learn about them! Thanks for sharing that with us Joey
When you were talking about finding the right scenes for what Rorie is talking about, doesn't he give you like timestamps of the scenes he wants? I would have thought he got all that ready along with the script.
Sweet video...audio and video seem a little off towards the end but maybe it's just me. Adorable dog/cat.
@Alex_Carrilo It's a tossup between Vinny and Joey for me.
I love hearing the origin stories of the Whiskey Media crew, maybe we could get more of them?

Sometimes I'm really good at timecodes, sometimes I'm not. If you guys are interested I can post some scripts that I've written for older video features to show you my note-taking process.
Great insightful video.
@Hulsey90: Oh yeah, sorry. For very specific scenes he timecodes -- and he's good about it. Anything else that I'm unsure about, I usually just tap him on the back and ask him what scene he's talking about. The benefit of working in the same office.
Thanks for posting this! I always love to see how the videos I watch get made. These kinds of things always inspire me to go make my own stuff. How many different takes do you have of Rorie reading the script? Does he read it through a few times and you pick out the best takes from there or does he read it until he nails the whole thing in one take?
@PacManFevaa: We only really redo a take if he flubs a line or wants to read it a different way -- but the whole thing is cut up so much we dont worry too much about doing everything in one take. We start and stop at sentences or paragraphs.

Yeah, I'd be really interested to see your thought processes on some videos.
I was just recalling when I've had to watch stuff for research and I would sit with a notebook and jot down times rather than thoughts for reference later, that was just what I assumed happened behind the scenes, thanks for these vids though I love getting insight into these things.
