I wonder how long till "I'm a veterinarian, so I know how the alien body works and where to shoot them" becomes a cliche. O battle: LA you so silly.

This movie sucked.

When I saw this movie it felt like I was watching video game cutscenes

Funny you mention that, because there was Resistance 3 advertising all over the goddamn place.

Man this movie had a scene with not one, not two, but three back to back inspirational speeches in a row. Aside from the inspirational speech train, this movie was a bit of dumb fun. I had a good time with it but I doubt that I'll ever go out of my way to see it ever again.

I liked this movie.

But I dislike Michelle Rodriguez.. I find her annoying... same character every time geeze try something else for once.

Does the alien die saying "I haven't yet begun to fight"?

Pretty good, though. Some of these are real cliches, and some are ... I don't know how to describe them. You see them a lot in movies, but I wouldn't a call them cliches per se. More like... every movie does these things, because that's how blockbusters are made. They're too generic to be cliches.

Whatever, though. I'm not sure why I'm defending a movie I hardly remember.

I got the same vibe, a few seemed a bit forced for the sake of the video! But mostly Brilliant

Wow, this was an awesome video Joey. Great job on picking out all of the cliches (I did enjoy the Michelle Rodriguez: Badass one)

Wow!

We need more of these.

Great video.

You can add 'finding the enemies weak spot' to the list.

@bkbroiler: Like tropes? I'm not sure if that word really means anything different than cliche though, perhaps it has a different connotation at least.

Great video, I wouldn't mind if this became a new feature. Seems like the most generic-ass action movie ever, but at least I don't need to watch it now!
lamaldo78on Aug. 4, 2011 at 8:10 a.m.
Haha, good feature.  Gave me a giggle.  The "Vetenarian" line was just hilarious but here's another one.  After single-handedly taking out a flying Alien Reconnaissance drone (armed only with a grenade), Aaron Eckhart returns to the group and she says: "Thanks for that."  - That was it.  No high five or hug or anything.

Never wanted to see this.  Alien invasions are getting a little old.

Ha! That was fantastic, thanks.

Psh whatever. I liked this movie. There were tons of cliches, but it was fun nonetheless. This made me want to watch it again.
