Good
I pretty much enjoyed this movie. Carla Gugino was great in the starring role, playing a sexy porn star and struggling mother-to-be very well. The dialogue was snappy, well paced and had some inspiring phrases (Said by Virgin Mary mostly) - but the best part of this movie was Adrianne Palicki, she had perfect comedic timing and her quotes had me in stitches. None of the characters (apart from Elektra) really had much screen-time but they each were pretty solid in their small roles.
Bad
Like I said, none of the other characters got much screen-time. Timthy Olyphant is only in a couple of scenes, whereas I felt he should have been included in much more of the movie, not just personally, but I think it would have helped the storyline progress better. It's a shame this movie relies on, well, cameo appearances. Many of the interesting characters are kinda wasted.
Final Thought
It's a cute movie with a great ensemble cast. It's pretty light-hearted and has well-written characters that everyone can at least identify with one of them. It's mostly aimed at women, but I'm sure some men can appreciate the sexiness and comedy that it has to offer.
