Ellen Page in Juno or Michael Cera in Youth in Revolt?
YOU DECIDE!

I haven't seen Youth in Revolt and I haven't seen Michael Cera as fantastically witty yet

My answer is instead Jesse Eisenberg who played 'Columbus' in Zombieland. Any character that makes a quick Don Quixote reference is a winner in my books.

However if forced to choose from your options I choose Ellen Page

Something about Juno's dialog felt a bit off, and Michael Cera has been playing similar roles since Arrested Development. I suppose I'd go with Cera, though.

Ellen Page gets written better that Michael Cera does, so I choose her. Really, though, if I'm in the mood for witty teenagers, I'll just turn on Gilmore Girls.

I cannot stand the dialog in Juno..."Honest to blog?"...WTF does that even mean. The dialog is so fake and tries to be all hip and trendy but comes across as pretentious and in turn the characters seem that way.

As for Youth in Revolt, I enjoyed the film and thought the dialog was at times witty or clever, and Cera was for the most part believable. My only problem with Cera is that he is so transparent, and has played the same character his whole life, and every time i see a movie he is in I just see George Michael Bluth, or Evan from Superbad, and that takes me out of the experience.

So I would have to agree with  @Captain_Insano: Jesse Eisenberg is the right answer. In both Zombieland and Adventureland he plays a very quick, witty character and is believable at the same time. He is the new Cera, but he possesses more range that Cera has not shown yet.

@TheBootlegSaint: yeah. I usually feel that Diablo Cody's dialogue is just painful... In Jennifer's Body someone actually says "Moveon, Dot Org!". barf.

Good call on Eisenberg. I think of all the films mentioned here, Zombieland is the one I've enjoyed most.

Definitely Ellen Page. Even if the opening of Juno was awkward, she made the character believable and likable for the vast majority.
