I watch it if I see it on and I laugh and enjoy it. However, I don't go out of my way to buy the dvds or watch it on a regular basis. I pretty much only watch it for Stewie also.

I only watch some of the episodes for Stewie and Brian. Most other episodes are just flat out hit-or-miss for me.

I'm really a member of the American Dad hate club, though (good thing, 'cause there's no rule against talking about that club. :P )

I love Family Guy and while it has a lot of lousy episodes, the show can be quite good at times and very funny. I don't know what people hate about because I absolutely love the show.

Seth MacFarlane messed up big time with American Dad because that show had the potential to be good but ended up being a huge misfire, much like The Cleveland Show.

I hate Family Guy with a passion. I think the reason why people like the show is that it makes them feel more "clever" than other people for getting shitty references that have nothing to do with the show's plot.

I watched this when it first came out, then bought the first two dvd's because I thought it was pretty ok. I quickly realized that a few episodes into a marathon session, I wasn't laughing at all anymore.

I'll take more Futurama, thank you very much.

first off, the first 3 seasons are great, and plot actually does exist.

after the reboot it didn't so much go downhill, as much as it turned into a completely different show with a horrible format. it's not unwatchable, but i don't ever feel the need to sit down and watch it, because anything funny usually is in a cutaway joke, and since the cutaway is random, it's literally impossible to trace back to an episode, unless the plot was memorable, which it usually isn't. and the jokes are also too referential for most people to pick up on. it's just weird cartoon sketch comedy.

I enjoy Family Guy, hell I enjoy American Dad too and the Cleaveland Show on occasion. They're not in the same league as the Venture Bros in my eyes but still better than a lot of other things on. I think its all down to personal taste. I personally detest anything by Ricky Gervais and find the actress Emma Stone rather irritating and unattractive. Some people like Football (or Soccer as you 'cross the pond say) and I do not. I like Doctor Who and my heterosexual life partner does not. People are different.

Yes, the first 3 seasons I still find hilarious. Now a days I just want to punch someone in the face because of how bad it is... I don't understand it...

EDIT: Also, American Dad is a much smarter and honestly, better show. Very underrated

Did I hear that they are in trouble for ripping off the Simpsons? or was that something else?
