• Was originally set to be released in 2007, but was stalled due to re-shoots and editing problems.
• The Weinstein Company wanted the whole plot line of Linus having cancer to be cut out from the film. After an outcry from fans and the director, the storyline was kept in.
• On the side of the van driven throughout the film the word "Fanboys" is written in the Star Wars language Aurebesh.
