February Preview!

February has long been Hollywood's dumping ground for amazingly horrible films. What movie from this month do you actually *want* to see?

Act of valor...could be fun.

Do you think my local cinema will let me walk in, watch the 'saber battle at the end of Episode 1, and then walk out again?

Also makes me sad that Tom Hardy is in something that looks and sounds so terrible.

Safe House if I could only go to one . . . but I probably will end up going to whale movie with my kid, and to Phantom Menace with my family, and Ghost Rider because stupid can still be fun. I think that there will be plenty of people like me, that while thinking the prequel movies are trash, will not miss the opportunity to take their kiddos to see all six films on the big screen.

well, safe house looks good

I think Ghost Rider looks strangely good. Could just be my unhealthy man-crush on Idris Elba.

Vig02on Jan. 31, 2012 at 11:24 a.m.

Okay, had to stop the video at the beginning.

What is up with those huge hairs on Rorie's chin. I Hope I'm not being inconsiderate, especially if he's got some crazy hair face problem that I'm just now noticing. Please, just let it just be a lose thread from his sweater or a stray puppy hair, cause it's freaking me out.

Started over and closed my eyes in the beginning. Great ending mash-up. Not much I care to see this month. Maybe Arrietty, but probably not.

Dylabalooon Jan. 31, 2012 at 11:28 a.m.

Awesome ending as usual.

TheHTon Jan. 31, 2012 at 11:28 a.m.

Hands down the best ending yet. So great haha.

If only one, I'd probably watch that not-Akira found footage movie.

I'm interested in seeing Chronicle, Ghost Rider, Act of Valor, and Star Wars. If I had to pick one, I'd pick Episode 1. I'm not a fan of the movie, but seeing a Star Wars film in theaters is still quite the experience. Or it was 10 years ago.

If I had to choose one: Safe House, 'cause menacing Washington is the best Washington.

Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock...

Not even Star Wars can get me to go see a movie in 3D.

Probably something like that. I usually groom myself decently well.

I've already seen Turin Horse and Arrietty so my pick is The Woman in Black, the trailer looks good and genuinely creepy.
T4RTERS4UCEon Jan. 31, 2012 at 11:47 a.m.

I think The Secret World of Arrietty is the way to go for me.

Safehouse is the only movie on this list I will ever intentionally see and even then probably from redbox netflix.

Also probably the vow will be seen on rental as well because my girlfriend makes orgasm faces whenever she sees Rachel McAdams (better her than Tatum I guess).

It looks more like a 90 minute Navy Seals recruitment video that's aimed towards Call of Duty aficionados.

Ghost Rider. I have to know. Also, I bet a million dollars that Amanda Seyfried is the killer/kidnapper person.

mbkishon Jan. 31, 2012 at 12:03 p.m.

Safe House is my one movie to watch this month.

Battlefield 3 was advertising this movie months ago. Only reason I knew about it.

Call of Duty: The Movie looks terrible.

And I simply cannot wait to read Alex's review of Ghost Rider.
