We here at Screened felt compelled to update the death count to include the latest film in the series (out this week on DVD). Enjoy, and remember...no escapes.

Dig Deeper into Final Destination 5

The franchise returns, despite the previous film being hailed as the last chapter. This is due to the fact that the previous film made more money than any installment before, with this new installment being released in 3D.

For anyone wondering: Final Destination 5 starts at about 8:20.

Also I can't watch this shit man. At a certain point, this is just realistic depictions of people dying. I know it's supposed to be fake but all the bridge collapsing stuff or anything with car accidents. That stuff actually happens and I'd rather not be reminded of it. I don't see how people can enjoy these movies.

I had to cover my eyes for most of this. I just can't get into these kind of movies I suppose.

Milkmanon Dec. 29, 2011 at 1:13 a.m.
Woah, wait a minute? So, every Final Destination after the first one is a prequel?

MIND BLOWN

Also, holy shit that gymnastics death from 5 is SO good.

Thanks Joey for spreading the holiday cheer. I wonder which movie has the highest death toll? I suppose billions of people died when Alderaan was destroyed in Star Wars. And "3 billion human lives" ended on Judgement Day.

Gotta admit the rollercoaster scenario, particularly being stuck upside down, always goes through my mind when I go to Six Flags.

The human imagination is a disgusting thing.
I was appalled and at the same time compelled to watch.

I feel sick now...

Ah the joys of hating yourself for finding joy in something so brutally disgusting. There's got to be some good editing fun for Joey just WAITING to be made from these.

This is EXACTLY how I needed to start my day off.

IkariNoTekkenon Dec. 29, 2011 at 5:25 a.m.

It just dawned on me watching this that I've actually seen the first 3 of these.

Gotta say having the fifth film loop back into the beginning of the first is pretty excellent by design. With that said, I've heard the film isn't that good so I probably won't bother watching 4 and 5 just to see that conclusion.

Must have enjoyed yourself making this Joey.

Joey you are the best!!!

forkboyon Dec. 29, 2011 at 5:52 a.m.

I have never watched a Final Destination movie. I think that on reflection after viewing this video I made the right choice because this is just so, so silly.

TrueEnglishGenton Dec. 29, 2011 at 6:08 a.m.

I laughed through every single one of them. The shower death cracks me up every time.

Bravo Joey. You rule.

ProjektGillon Dec. 29, 2011 at 6:16 a.m.

@Milkman:

Nope, only the 5th movie is a prequel, the rest are sequels.

As much as the 5th movie sucked, it did have some good deaths. The LASIK scene was probably the most I've ever cringed at a death. I think the barbed wire/slow fall apart is still my favourite.

And great new intro Joey, awesome way to start a new year (almost) for Screened.

P.S. At 3:30, didn't two people die?

keeganon Dec. 29, 2011 at 6:50 a.m.

Amazing, great job.

I picked such a wrong time to eat my lunch and watch this video :/

Moviemaniacon Dec. 29, 2011 at 7:17 a.m.

Final Destination films always have the weirdest death scenes.

Max21on Dec. 29, 2011 at 7:49 a.m.

@Milkman: Nope only the 5th one
