Fish Tank follows the daily struggles of a young British teen named Mia. Her life is turned upside down when her mother's new boyfriend enters the picture and she finds herself strangely attracted to the charming man.

Overview

Fish Tank is the second feature film from writer / director Andrea Arnold, and features Katie Jarvis in her very first acting role as well as seasoned actor Michael Fassbender. Fish Tank strives for a gritty and realistic view of Mia's (Katie Jarvis) life with her single mother Joanne ( Kierston Wareing) and her foul mouthed littler sister Tyler ( Rebecca Griffiths). Mia gets into scraps with other kids, works on her hip hop routines, and tries to free a horse throughout a normal days activities. It is not until her mother brings home a new boyfriend, Connor (Michael Fassbender), does Mia's attitude change. Connor's presences has a profound affect on Mia, and could possibly change her life forever.
