"Forrest Gump" is a good movie, It's beautifully told by Robert Zemeckis and has powerful charm to it. However, what alot of people could miss, and what I almost missed is what I feel "Forrest Gump" is trying to say, on the surface it looks like the message is "everyone can achieve greatness". I personally believe that the message goes deeper than that, I believe Zemeckis is trying to say that "you can ask god for help, but god isn't in control of your life, you are".
